Unity Ride
Fundraiser
| A
National Unity Ride was held on November 11, 2001 to raise money for the United
Way's September 11th Fund. Major cities in the United
States held 20-25 mile bike rides in memory of lives lost and spirits
challenged.
Jacki's Colorado instructor, Ellen Brown,
pictured on the right in a red-and-white jersey, led the ride in the Denver, Colorado area.
Ellen's husband is pictured on the left in a matching jersey. Ellen's group raised
$840 for this worthy
cause. Congratulations to Ellen and all the Unity
Riders! |

Congratulations
to Honolulu student, Penny Mau
Penny Mau
(center), shown with friends, Tanya Reed
(left) and Alita Arkin (right), is
honored by instructor Anne Noyes. Penny came to Jacki's Aerobic
Dancing five years ago because she was diagnosed with
osteoporosis. She had been on medication for six years.
Her bone density had not improved all these years until she
started using weights for longer periods. Her bone density
increase this year was .8%! Congratulations to Penny from Anne,

Tribal
Dance! Tribal Dance!
The "Tribal Dance" in the Rhythm Divine
session of Aerobic Dancing inspired Beth
Scott and some of her students in Atlanta, Georgia, to have
a tribal party! Above (L to R) are June
Cothran (from Tony Tiger's tribe), Judy
Cook (from the Atlanta Braves tribe), Donna
Harris (from Cleo's tribe), Muriel
Ohlin (in authentic Panamanian Tribal dress), and Beth
Scott (also from Tony Tiger's tribe)

Above are Donna
Harris (left) and Muriel Ohlin.
The black line down Muriel's face represents, um...virginity.
You can't see it, but Muriel is also wearing a ring in her nose!
