Hello! My name is Ellen Brown, and I started as a student in
Jacki Sorensen's Aerobic Dancing 6 months after my first child was born in
1980. I looked in the mirror one day and knew I needed to exercise! A
co-worker told me about a class he was taking and his wife had just started to teach, so I
joined him at a class and immediately fell in love with Jacki's programs. I was a
student for a few years and knew that my goal was to teach. I was certified in 1984
and have taught continuously ever since.
I've tried other programs out there, been to health clubs
and never felt comfortable with the atmosphere, or the safety of the exercises being done.
I've taught in Aurora since 1984, and
my classes are fun and friendly. Our facility has a wood floor. I use a great sound system and a microphone for your
enjoyment. The music is never too loud, and you can always be sure to hear me cue
the next move to you!
