Greetings from Arlington,
Massachusetts! Arlington is 9 miles west of
Boston and our two locations are close to public transportation. We have morning,
evening and Saturday classes, plus special holiday events (i.e., Thanksgiving Day), which
are attended by both instructors and participants from all over Massachusetts.
We also have a morning class in Peabody.
I became a certified Jacki Sorensen's Aerobic Dancing
instructor in 1987. I am a member of the International
Dance Exercise Association (IDEA) and have been certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) since
1990. ACE group fitness instructors must be recertified every two years. As a
part of this recertification I attend classes with aerobics instructors from all over the
country to update my skills. I can honestly say that Jacki's program is the safest.
It includes all facets of a complete aerobic workout with optimum benefits.
Class sizes are small and dancers are very supportive of
and welcoming to new students. Dancers range in age from high school (with written
permission from a parent or guardian) up to ??; we never discuss age.
You exercise at your own level. Participants wear whatever is comfortable--t-shirts,
tank tops, and leotards are popular. Wear aerobic shoes, bring a towel or floor mat
for the abdominals and prepare to have FUN.
We have some hand weights available on a first-come, first-served basis. You will
finish the class feeling exhilarated and stress free!
Come join us!
New students, the first week of class is always free,
with new student rates available when you decide to continue. There is no contract
to sign, so call (781) 646-5844 or e-mail
amreilly47@comcast.net
for details.
Whether you are in Boston for business or pleasure, if you are a Jacki's dancer, you are
welcome to dance in class as my guest.
